What We Are About
The Nedivah Project exists to support and strengthen locally led efforts in Uganda in a way that is sustainable, relational, and respectful. Rather than creating independent systems, the mission focuses on partnering with Ugandan professionals, ministry leaders, and families who are already deeply invested in their communities. Walking alongside them and supporting them.
This work centers around expanding access to medical care, supporting children without stable family structures, and addressing practical needs such as education, hygiene, and community support. The goal is not short-term aid, but long-term impact, helping build systems and relationships that continue to grow well beyond any single trip.
What It Looks Like to Join a Trip
Mission trips are designed to be immersive, relational, and service-focused. Each trip typically spans two weeks and includes time spent in medical outreach, serving at the children’s home, and making friends by being in the community
Participants engage directly with the community, contributing to both practical needs and relational connection. While some roles involve medical care, many others focus on support, logistics, and simply being present with the people being served.
The experience often requires flexibility and a willingness to step into unfamiliar environments. At the same time, it offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships, gain a deeper understanding of another culture, and take part in work that has lasting impact.
